1930-40s Vintage Fort Ticonderoga Clay Pottery. Bud Vase with Flower Frog Holes. The holes are punched through the rim for easy floral decorating. The exterior is unglaze, interior has a brown glaze so it is ready to use and hold water. Bottom is stamped with "Fort Ticonderoga". Pottery was made from the 1930s-1960s in Silver Springs, Florida and sold on the grounds to tourists. Made by Henry A. Graack and his wife Madelyn. They were immigrants from Denmark. During the summer the couple traveled north to Fort Ticonderoga, New York and continued making pottery in similar styles to this. Their pottery during this early time was all in this same color and design. This vase measures approx. 3" tall and 4" round. Excellent Vintage Condition. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Wear is consistent with age.
