1930s Vintage Carnelian & Gold Ring

This is an absolutely beautiful vintage ring from around the 1930s. The ring is made of genuine gold and has a beautiful, highly polished carnelian stone in the center. The Jeweler who tested the ring for me also gave me a little info on the ring. It's marked 333, which stands for 33.3% genuine gold. This percentage of genuine gold equates to 8k gold. This karat gold seemed strange to me since I've never heard of it before. After doing a little research myself, i found that 8k was actually somewhat common with vintage jewelry. Especially pieces designed & created around the same time as this ring. It's a size 9 and weighs 4.8 g. The ring is in very good condition mainly because it hasn't been worn in many years, and it's been packed away in my storage facility. The ring has a mark on the back inside of the band & the Jeweler could tell me that it had been sized at one time and that it is definitely possible to be sized again. Feel free to ask questions.
