This is a beautiful vintage hinged brass bracelet from the 1930s featuring an engraved script monogram and a patented double hinge design. The patent number (1994-826) and letter “R” in a box are stamped on the inside. The bracelet opens easily by hinging to the side and stays open for simple on-and-off wear, closing securely when the sides are pressed together.
The front bears an ornate engraved initial “D” in an Old English style, followed by an unreadable letter or flourish. The bracelet is non-magnetic and believed to be solid brass with subtle gold tones and a soft aged patina. A lovely representation of early 20th-century craftsmanship, this piece would make a meaningful addition to any vintage jewelry collection or a unique gift for a history or design enthusiast.
