Wonderful vintage blouse that looks like it was made in the 1920's or even a little earlier maybe. It's a sheer soft peachy pink fabric that feels like chiffon, maybe silk, and it's beautifully decorated with embroidered flowers and cutout eyelet-type lines and dots. Mother of pearl buttons down the back and pretty flounced 3/4 sleeves with an attached flounce on each side at the bottom. There's something unusual at the waistline -- please see photos. It's like there's a slightly stretchy band that goes from the back around sides to the front, and the back also has a small buttoned-up section that has two empty button holes on each side at top -- maybe it had a matching skirt that buttoned into the blouse? I really just don't know even how it should be worn but I'm betting someone out there does. It's like there's an extra panel in there.
Good condition overall with four small moth type holes to the side of those empty buttonholes -- not terribly noticeable. There are several very small brownish spots on back of left shoulder -- none of this is terrible noticeable until you're up close. I haven't washed this or ironed it.
No tags or labels so please use these approximate measurements to make sure it will fit:
Bust approximately 40"
Waist (bottom) 32"
Neckline to waist at back, along buttoned edge 18"
