This is a highly desirable 1911 Hamilton Watch Co. railroad grade pocket watch with intricate steam locomotive train engine engraving. This antique American pocket watch made by Hamilton Watch Co. features a Keystone lever set case manufactured in 1891. The movement is magnificent with 21 jewels made of rubies and sapphires and solid gold internal components. The movement is numbered 807122, is fitted with a double roller, is bezel set, the size is 18s, grade 940, has a heavy gold-filled case, a double-sunk railroad dial, and is open-faced. The dial reads "Hamilton" and the case is numbered 678581. The case is marked "Keystone" "Base Metal". The back of the case is beautifully hand engraved with a steam locomotive train engine. It is a notably handsome case. The overall condition of this pocket watch is excellent. Weight is approximately four ounces (gross weight of assembled watch), diameter of dial is approximately 1-3/4", diameter of case frame is approximately 2-1/4", and the watchcase height, inclusive of the bow, is approximately 3-3/4". Fully serviced.
