1900 Antique Imperial Jade Dragon & Butterfly Disk Pendant

This fabulously stunning antique Imperial Jade pendant was acquired at a recent, local estate sale. It is estimated to be circa 1900. The large jade disk is a solid piece of jadeite. The jade is heavy weight, which indicates a solid piece of jade. It features several shades of green, orange, and brown, the hallmark of Imperial Jade. The mounts are silvered brass. The carved dragons and butterflies are 14k gold. The pendant measures 2" in diameter x 0.5" thick. The piece of Jade is in excellent condition. ***A similar pendant was put up for auction in 2010 by a Hamburg, Germany auction house (see second photo) and sold for $2600.
