lonestarry Hello. This ring is lovely. Are there scratches on the large center stone? One of the photographs shows two white marks on the center green stone. Is that correct or is it an optical illusion?

joshisposhin @lonestarry Hello there, Thank you for stopping by. You are correct, that ring in the photo is 1 out of 3 others I have and the others do not have this particular "scratch". I will mark that particular ring as unavailable, however it is so hard to spot it unless you are glancing at it in the right lighting and angle.

joshisposhin @lonestarry The three others I have in stock do not contain any noticeable scratches like that one but there microscopic scratches on all of these because of the material used to make them. 🙂 Thank you for pointing that out!

lonestarry @joshisposhin thank you for the clarification. So, do the stones scratch easily? I don't understand what you mean by saying all have microscopic scratches from the material used to make them. Can you explain that please?

joshisposhin @lonestarry Of course I can, sorry for not being as clear as I could have been. The center "gem" is made of plastic and is susceptible to scratches as a result of handling (by me) and normal wear and tear, but these are all unworn and may contain very miniscule scratches. An occasional shallow mark can go unnoticed, but over time if not taken care of properly, they may add up and leave the center stone quite worn out. 🙂
