1898 Love in Epigram compiled by Frederick W. Morton, A.C. McClurg and Company

Love in Epigram: Sapient Guesses and Foolish Conceits about the Tender Passion features a delightful and witty assortment of quotes and reflections on love by a variety of well-known authors and poets. The decorative red cloth cover with gold embossed designs gives it a classic Victorian charm. The book also includes handwritten notations in the margins and several vintage newspaper clippings tucked inside, adding to its character and charm. This 126-year-old book needs some TLC and is in overall fair condition for its age: • Cover: detached, with marks and wear at edges and corners • Spine: heavy wear with tearing/fraying and separation at ends • Pages: two pages before the title page are detached with tearing at edges; remaining pages in decent condition with some age marks, handwritten notes, and a few small tears • Edges: age marks and darkening • Measures ~ 6.75” x 4.25” Please see all pictures.
