Late 1880’s Transferware Ridgways Litchfield Blue Porcelain Covered Soup Tureen w/Ladle 9” x 8” x 5” tall Ridgways Litchfield Blue Transferware Soup Tureen with matching ladle. Circa 1880’s. Made in Stoke on Trent England. Beautiful flared design on lid with cut out for matching soup ladle. molded gadroon base, butterfly form handles. (11½” across) Dark blue floral design, in panels and accents. There is crazing and stains with various flea bites - see photos. In good antique condition. Still very usable. Rare, especially with matching ladle. Bow & quiver “RIDGWAYS Stoke On Trent Royal Semi Porcelain Litchfield” back-stamp. Registry number 114297 circa 1888.
