1800s Victorian Taille d'Eparne Gold Filled Pendant Brooch

Exquisite RARE mid 1800s Antique Gold Filled Taille d'Eparne Pendant or Brooch. Taille d'Eparne is an enameling technique popular over several decades during the mid 19th Century to decorate jewelry. Opaque Black enameling was used to achieve a contrast effect. This style of jewelry fell out of favor with the Victorians by the 1870s. It is Highly Popular and Collectible among Antique Jewelry collectors today. Overall in Great Antique condition. There's only a bit of dents on the BACK, unseen while worn.
