1700s Antique Copper Kettle with Bronze Closure Handle and Dovetails

Add a touch of elegance to your kitchen with this large vintage 100% copper kettle teapot. This piece comes with history from the 1700s. It's dated by the dovetail handmade design and welded with pure bronze. In the early 1800s, people figured out that they needed to line the inside of the kettle with tin due to copper poisoning. This one is pure copper which dates it to the the 1700s. It took a lot of elbow grease to restore it from the pure black state I found it in. Now it shines! Great addition to any collection of antiques. This is extremely rare to find. I can make this look shiny new as a penny but I chose to keep it in its antique state.Please let me know your preference and I will keep it as it or make it look brand new.
