The color by eye looks like a deep dark red and is semi-translucent. The round polished gems are about 4.82mm each. The faceted gem is about 5.54mm at its widest point and about 9mm high. Three oval sterling links each feature a tiny marcasite. The gems are testing all over, ranging from garnet to amethyst/quartz, so their exact identity cannot be stated with certainty.
