This finely detailed shell cameo was likely carved in the 1940s as a wedding gift for the bride. Her face is angelic, she's wearing an orchid, pearl necklace and headband with flower. Her dress is draped softly around her shoulder and her hair has soft curls. In short, she is stunning! This cameo is edged with a gold ribbon, which is intricately etched (see photo), and it is truly a gorgeous feminine pendant. There is a maker's mark and signature "Van Dell" and "14K GF" on the inside near the clasp (see photos), and it is in excellent condition - no cracks or damage - and will be placed in a gift box for delivery.
