Twisted Mesh style Statement Necklace Marked 14/20 GF on the CLASP. See no other markings, maybe you’ll have better luck. We also usually see these marked as 14K 1/20 Gold Filled. Great condition, dulling a bit, some minor tarnish / finish loss. Nice longer length! Esti 24” when stretched out, end to end 💐 I’m sorry I have to say it, but this is marked gold filled on the clasp & is untested. It is a twisted mesh vintage necklace. The “chain“ part isn’t overly lightweight, but the mesh is. Vintage jewelry, especially 60s/70s, was usually marked gold plated or gold filled, could be GP, GF, HGE, RG, or similar… all different ways to say plated or… not solid gold. Even gold filled is a different way of plating jewelry. It’s gold over another metal. We just had a jeweler on Posh make an offer, purchase this necklace & then return it claiming it was not “gold filled“. They sent us a picture of it on a fancy machine that came back with a result “likely plated“. What?!? This is a vintage typical pretty piece of costume jewelry. This is not a fine piece of gold. We truly believe they purchased it thinking it was actual 14K, or did not read that it was mesh, and thought he was getting a heavy piece of gold 😑 We will now need to clarify anything that is gold plated or gold filled, and marked as such, comes to you as is, as found and is untested. We are not jewelers. We will not be testing our $20 vintage items, & wouldn’t know how. Costume, and selling as such 🫶🏻 Thank you NPC29
