12K Gold Filled Leaf & Pearl Vintage Brooch

This is a very unusual looking pin because it looks like it has a wire base. Two "candy cane shaped" wires are at the end of this piece - and I don't know if they are supposed to be shaped like this, or exactly alike. I have searched the internet and I cannot find a brooch that looks like this. I'm also having a difficult time making out the initials included in the stamping on the back, along side: 12 K G F Ivy looking leaf design with pearls that are most likely imitation, but I'm not certain because I don't have a tester. Rolling clasp functions perfectly.
