We are pleased to offer this set of 12 collector’s plates made by Haviland Limoges as the Twelve Days of Christmas series. Each plate measures 8 3/8 inches in diameter and is in mint condition, with no chips, scratches, or cracks. The plates are decorated with the items from the traditional Christmas carol: a partridge in a pear tree, two turtle doves, three French hens, four coly birds, five gold rings, six geese a’laying, seven swans a’swimming, eight maids milking cows, nine ladies dancing, ten lords leaping, eleven pipers piping, and twelve drummers drumming.  The back of each is marked “Haviland Limoges,” “R. Hetreau,” and “Haviland France.”  The plates were made in the 1970’s and 1980’s, with one plate being released each year from 1970-1981, and each plate bears the date of the year when it was released.
