10 (fits 6-8) Early 90s(?) Vintage William Pearson Black Green Modest Gown Dress

Early 90s(?) Vintage William Pearson Black & Green Velvet & Satin Modest LS Gown with Pockets Marked a 10, fits today's 6-8ish Measurements in pics, no stretch, free hip. If you're willing to redo what I think is an aftermarket hem job you could get another 3+ out of the green skirt length. VGUC-- has a couple spots of something and a small line of water marking on the front of the skirt, but the folds hide these well enough that I think it's very wearable anyway. And these would dry clean right out. I have reflected the possibility of needing a dry clean in the price compared to what this brand normally sells for. This is a classic all-purpose holiday gig gown that can work in even the dress-code-fussiest church environments--or even a friend's Orthodox Jewish wedding! It does appear to cover the collarbone on my dress form even when it is about a size too big for the dress form. It runs smaller in the waist than in the bust, although being so close to the 80s it's possible they were looking for a looser fit up top. It is not so 80s as to look particularly dated though, and I think this gown will carry you through years of gigs. You'll want to have your blue blockers off to see the green shade most accurately.
