@texasgal1980 They shouldn't. I even tested & pulled on one of my own to check & it didn't. It does say not to soak them when cleaning. Just use a cleaner or mild soap, on bristles/hair. And don't soak the handles or where they connect. A tip: For other makeup brushes I've had, I was able to reinforce the bristles to the handles by glueing them. Maybe an option as they get older.
