10” Mixing Bowl Philbe Sapphire Blue Ovenware, FIRE KING by Anchor Hocking, MCM

This beautiful serving bowl belonged to my wife’s grandmother. My wife remembers her grandmother telling how she obtained her Fire King cook set (brief history at end of listing) during WWII while buying groceries. Vintage Fire King Philbe large Sapphire Blue mixing or serving bowl is a round, hand wash only, decorative utility bowl produced by Anchor Hocking. It was manufactured in 1940s and features an etched vintage pattern in glossy blue glass. The bowl measures 10 inches in diameter and weighs over 2 pounds. It is an original piece with an impressed back-stamp, ideal for all occasions. This bowl has a wide rim, making it good for mixing and pouring batter, frothing milk or eggs or blending ingredients in general. The bowl is approx 4 inches tall, 10 inches in diameter. CONDITION: Pre Owned. Excellent used condition with no visible chips and no cracks, but some overall wear/scratches appropriate with age as shown in the photos..
