This finely crafted Zuni inlay cross pendant is a beautiful example of traditional Native American stonework. Handcrafted in sterling silver and hallmarked “STERLING” with the maker’s mark “K,” the cross features highly polished black onyx inlay accented by luminous opal details. (This opal looks to have a turquoise hue to it but it could be an optical illusion). The design showcases geometric opal inlays across the horizontal arms, a narrow opal accent at the top, and a graceful diagonal opal inlay descending the vertical shaft, creating striking contrast against the deep black onyx. The tapered bail is also inlaid with matching onyx, reflecting the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of Zuni artistry.
