Coach serial/creed number basics (collector/reseller reference):
Older Coach items often include a code on the creed patch that can reflect month, year, plant/location, and style number, but formats have changed many times and are not consistent across all eras.
Month codes (commonly referenced):
A = Jan, B = Feb, C = Mar, D = Apr, E = May, F = Jun, G = Jul, H = Aug, J = Sep, K = Oct, L = Nov, M = Dec
(I is typically skipped)
Year codes (commonly referenced for certain vintage eras):
4 = 1994 through 3 = 2003
04 = 2004 through 10 = 2010
(Other eras use different systems or do not follow this pattern)
Common format examples by era (not universal):
• Mid-1990s–mid-2000s: Letter + number + plant code – style number (ex: K8P 9870, E05Q-9950)
• Mid-2000s–2010s: Letter + 2–4 numbers – style number (ex: B1980-38124, M1592-F36704)
• 2020s–present: Numeric/alpha formats that may not include date info (ex: H2081-C0769, D2281-CA123)
Coach does not publish a complete public guide to internal codes, stamps, or formats. These references are based on long-standing reseller and collector observations and are provided for general educational context only.

@msgofer I appreciate that you made a purchase however you’ve purchased one of my flyers by mistake and now I’ve lost all the likes on it. Definitely be sure that you check the listing title before making a purchase.
