Hi all my wonderful fellow Poshers. I just became aware of some news about the changes being made to PM. Could someone please elaborate on what’s going on? The thing I love the most about PM is its wonderful community of people. I know we have all worked very hard at building relationships with our fellow Poshers to help one another succeed and be successful. It is truly what makes this platform different from all of the others. To hear about all of these changes is definitely disappointing. I don’t know if anyone else is feeling the same way but if so, please reach out and leave me a message. Wishing everyone a beautiful day and a wonderful upcoming Holiday Season.

closetclearout2 I am definitely feeling the same way! I’ve noticed over the past few days offers and sales have completely stopped and activity on my page has significantly decreased. I feel a lack of community with all these changes.. with the exception of posh parties. It’s so hard to even share to the posh parties now! I’m so confused by this new algorithm

ralucagreynald @closetclearout2 I feel the same way. My sales have just completely stopped. Apparently they changed something with the sharing feature as well. I’m not a big tech person so I don’t understand how all of these algorithms work but I can definitely see a change. 😥

bonniekam @ralucagreynald I think so many of us are in the same boat. I can’t figure out what’s going on and why I can’t see followers or share the same way as before. I tried reaching out and unfortunately, I’m not getting much information with any other responses. I’m hopeful they come out soon with some clarification at least for all of us. I definitely am missing the community here. 💚

kreativekristen It’s almost like they don’t want to have us texting each other , the sharing tap, scroll, tap , text ,tap process to leave a note is just so tiresome. The other irritation is how pigeon holes we are, my feed shows me my likes , when in order for me to expand my horizons I need to see various types of closets. Also who I sell to is different from what I buy for myself or buy to resell.

closetclearout2 @ralucagreynald Yeah they removed the “bulk share” feature this week and they made the share button super tiny recently. They also changed the default setting in search results from “Just Shared” to “Relevance.” It feels like they are moving to be like E B @ Y where you post and then pay for promoted listings to get visibility. I did a google search the other night and saw some other people’s thoughts on the Poshmark changes on Reddit that had some insight.

Sharing remains an important part of selling on Poshmark & you can continue to share individual listings to keep your closet active & promote your items in the Just Shared section. We understand this is a change & truly appreciate your feedback as we continue improving the PM experience.”

Endless sharing one by one to parties, no sales, a horrible feed geared towards broke college Kids isn’t helping the sellers that built this platform. reviews of the site-the feedback is BAD! I don’t know what 20-year-old marketer you hired to advise you on the feed, but it’s horrible and doesn’t work. It’s not bringing in sales to anybody I know.

maplebetsy I also feel frustrated and confused. 🤔 I lost my mind when the bulk tool for sharing my closet disappeared. I have almost 1,000 items. I also feel confused why I can’t see what I just shared. I can’t seem to find new closets to follow. It’s like an upsidedown world 🌎!

patersock I feel like it is chaos, no more bulk sharing tools and yet my 400 posts are starting to tell me they haven’t been shared in over two days. It’s time to share according to Poshmark. Nothing like sitting there and trying to share 400 individual items. Sales have plummeted & my part time job is now a disaster.

mgm1933 @ralucagreynald It’s all so confusing and they never provide actual answers all vague. I did reach out to Posh and got the exact same response as @closetclearout2 posted. It wouldn’t surprise me if they decided to do away with the parties, so difficult to share. I so dislike the tiny share button, all these changes happening so quickly and no clarification!

bonniekam I did get the following as a response from them, although it makes no sense to me because I’m not sure how anyone would find my closet in the first place. I’ve already been doing everything they suggested with no activity, but if it helps anyone else. “You can still share individual listings when you want to highlight specific items, but there’s no need to bulk share regularly. dhblair My sales have slowed too. All of these changes occurring close to the Christmas sales season have me concerned. I don't use sidekick but others are suggesting I add the app. There are a few cross listing apps to consider. I have experienced issues with my closet during these updates. Finally, after I did the most recent update, I can share without my closet going black.

sapurses Thank goodness for all of you!!! We are flying blind with all these changes and the drop in sales is crazy!!! Posh seems to be going the way of price per clicks revenue for themselves without support for the sellers, More money to sell our listings for even more of a discount. They have taken away some of the sub-categories, sharing is now no longer a way for exposure, and parties I feel are next to go. Even when I do a bulk sale to likers the sales have dried up completely. So angry !!!

aj_greatstuff Thank you so much for posting this, I couldn’t agree with you more! I’m so sad and feel lost and unsupported by Poshmark. I don’t understand why they are making all of these changes with no regard to all of their loyal poshers! My sales have also dropped. The thing I love most about Poshmark is the feeling of belonging to a community where most people are so kind and helpful to one another. Tools and features I used so often are disappearing daily.

lmoss95 Thank you Raluca. I am so frustrated with these new changes. Not having the bulk share tool is making sharing almost impossible. I don’t have time to share each item individually. For the makeup party, I have over 1,500 items to share. I reached out and got the same lame response that everyone else did. Hopefully Poshmark will get enough feedback to make changes that actually help sellers make sales!

I’m not a fan of change, especially the SHARE button, & our ability to follow other’s closets. Why? Just why, Poshmark? sapurses @ralucagreynald I downloaded the sidekick last night for the 7 day trial…..I already see a big difference. My likes are going up and share are too!!! My thought is lowering my promoted closet budget to pay the monthly fee. Seems like a good way to spread my advertising money 👍🏻

In addition to the issues that have been mentioned already, PM has turned ON the "smart sell" feature. I do not like it or want it, yet I'm having to go into individual items to turn it OFF. Are our closets no longer OUR closets? @ralucagreynald Do you mind if I tag other pffs to this thread?

sapurses @toptncat I hated the smart sell!! Not everyone who likes an item wants an offer right away!! It may be a turn-off to some buyers. ***If YOU have activated the smart sell feature on a listing, it is now automatically sending an offer to anyone that likes that listing. ***

toptncat @sapurses Thank you for your feedback, Lynda. I understand WhAt smart sell is. I've never activated it on any item and never had an issue with it until this past week, when suddenly I began receiving multiple notifications that my "offer" was being sent to xx likers. That msg still pops up randomly in my feed, (which I then turn off) and I find myself now searching through my closet to find which items have it toggled On, so that I can turn OfF something that I never turned oN. 🤪🙃🫣 🙋🏼‍♀️Cathy

sapurses @toptncat Of course!! I was under the impression that it only countered offers ….but no …offers are going to “likers” which I am not happy with. I turned mine all off….i don’t have a huge inventory as I am moving soon and am trying to sell off as much as possible 😊😊😊

acelestialsoul @ralucagreynald PM isn’t working. The feed they’re using-select categories-isn’t bring ME buyers. The search still doesn’t work. Promoted closet is what they’re pushing.I can’t afford it. Many I’ve talked to say promoted closets is a expen$ive have found that it brings in zero sales for them. I made a listing about this in my closet with some of Poshmark‘s responses. Social media has exploded with negative comments about the changes as well..

katjlp @ralucagreynald What a mess!!!!! Thank you for helping us STAY a community by being able to voice concerns and support each other. They’re not using a positive, successful type of a business plan that I’ve ever seen before. Usually you want your business plan to make your sellers money and you the company money. But if I don’t sell, you don’t make your 20%. If I don’t have access to bulk selling, I’m probably not gonna sell that much anymore. And you push Mark did not want us to use bots!

Social media is exploding with negative comments about the feed & the changes Poshmark has made. This is my third year in a row of study decline in sales since never took over. PM is pushing Promoted closet.

katjlp Sorry, driving and using voicemail. Sharing your items and sharing other people items has proven to be quite successful for all of us. Poshmark wants us to share, but they take away the bulk sharing. Do you want us to use bots? Because last time I looked, you discouraged them. What do you look up Poshmark post from Poshmark support they’re linked to a bot company. Interesting.

acelestialsoul @ralucagreynald PM is heavily pushing promoted closet. It’s a PAY-PER-CLICK FEE. (It isn’t “if item sells” ) Naver/PM wants 20% of our sales & for us to blindly trust Promoted Closet to bring us sales. (Many sellers have reported it doesn’t improve their sales, is very expensive & is hard cancel.)

ralucagreynald @acelestialsoul I absolutely agree with you. I have never done the promoted Closet because I don’t think it’s right . We already give PM 20% of our sales that we work for. There’s other sites that take the same amount, but they do all the work all the pictures all of that. That’s just crazy if that’s what they’re pushing. I don’t know how successful that’s going to be or how other people feel about the promoted Closet.

My photos don’t fit unless I use Poshmark’s AI.😞 Cathy, thanks again for tagging me! I just wanted you to know why I’m not sharing. I would LOVE for posh to tell us respectfully what the ultimate goal is for PM so that we can choose.

jadet4 @toptncat How do you bulk share & who are you sharing to? My bulk share is gone From my understanding, when you share another person’s listing, it goes nowhere. When you share your own listing, it rotates your closet but goes nowhere. Except to a party if it fits the category. Community sharing is still required to meet the posh ambassador gold star status.

toptncat @jadet4 on my tablet, it's th'same as always. I click on the tool🔧(which is gone from the app on my phone), and the choices are like they always were. If there's a party, it let's me share to the party. I can choose a category, and share them all (ie: jewelry, shoes, etc.) As to where they're going... 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🤔💭 So, are you saying that all my shares to my pffs, and their's to me are going nowhere? 😯

jadet4 @toptncat My app must’ve updated bc the 🔧 is gone. Oh well… Yes, my sweet friend…. Shares both yours and community go nowhere. To rotate your closet use the ENL option. But, yes. Followers & the feed is gone. You’ll see the shares in your personal newsfeed but nowhere else. PM is now using a “ for you” feed. When use you the ENL, it distributes it to people who have express interest in that item & put it in their for you feed.

ralucagreynald @bosslady928 Nope, you still can’t share in bulk. I can’t even share individually. I have a Posh Party tomorrow and I tried to share it with my fellow Poshers and it won’t even let me do that?? I reallly don’t know what’s going on and there’s no one that can give us specific answers to our questions. I put this post up on INS and tagged PM and still nothing.

We've lost the ability to positively affect our visibility or help our pff's visibility. I agree it's become a pay to play place where individual listings as well as entire closets are being deleted & not reinstated. I'm going to keep sharing my pffs listings, I don't know what else to do.😢

Especially devastating to the ones that have been here for years like yourself, that helped build it up to what it is today. I don’t know what to do either.
