Hi Angelica, I see you like one of my listings. I’m reaching out to ask your help. That LV wallet you liked, someone bought it. My dilemma is when I go to download the shipping label, it tells me to submit my info to send me a shipping label. Is that new? We supposed to download the shipping labels right away. To top it off the purchaser don’t have listings. It’s just a profile. I’m scared to send the item out and it’s off poshmark. Thanks

@martelb Hi! UGH! I remember when that happened to me, 2 yrs ago.
It is legit! It's something Posh is doing periodically, supposedly "to combat fraud."
I am a privacy freak and demanded that they allow me to provide an alternate form of ID, which they did. BUT - it took a while, I had to get a supervisor

So it’s safe to submit my info then, try to reach out to poshmark support but they said to get back to me in 1-to-3 days. Great! I said let me ask someone, hopefully they’ll know about this. You are correct. At least alarm us so we know about it. You are an angel for helping me. Thank you so much.

@martelb One last thing, if you are afraid of the buyer, you have a perfect opportunity to cancel the sale.
Tell her Posh isn't letting you ship until you update all your tax info, and you can't do that right now, so you are cancelling the sale.
To cancel, Tap on the LV sale (in my sales) and scroll.to the bottom, I think.it says "problem", or something similar. That will take you to a cancel option.

I definitely cancel the sale. When I hit the download, it said complete know your customers verification to get your shipping label. Then in the square box said add my legal details. I’m not doing that.

The thing about it is, it doesn’t say that I’m submitting it to poshmark. Our sales is supposed to be safe and not to worry of being scammed. But I’m seeing a few messaging about scammers. And scares me .

@martelb The way you described it, tells me it was Posh, because when it happened to me it was the same exact thing, where they won't allow u to print a shipping label until you submit the tax details.
You should contact Posh help, they can tell you exactly what to do😊
