carolinewill539 The measurements armpit armpit is 51 in , and 51 is for waist and hip measurement straight down, if you want a looser fit allow 3-4 in, the material is not a heavyweight denim it's a true denim not a denim look.

carolinewill539 you still have time to purchase the denim spring coat and the coat will definitely fit a size 10/12 - 14/16 that size would be really roomy for that coat. Be sure to check out the sizes on the description for the medium and small measurements if you're getting this coat for 10/12 size.
