mrstomsha @thriftystitches Yeah, when I’m feeling good I spend a lot of time on here πŸ˜‚ I have lots of friends and family that donate to me because I have Lupus and Epilepsy so I can’t work, this helps offset some of my medication costs. I’m really blessed to have this outlet to keep me active. With the seizures I can’t drive so I end up spending a lot of time home alone. Totally addicted.

mrstomsha @thriftystitches For sure, definitely a boost in confidence for me. I was diagnosed at 30 and had to stop working by 33 it was pretty depressing not to be able to bring in that income not to mention I loved my old job so that was tough. I’m glad I have this.

artsie_1 @mrstomsha I'm dealing with the same thing (sort of). I began passing out randomly, 2yr ago. I was hospitalized after doing so and hitting my head on brick hearth. 17 staples and going into respiratory & renal failure while in, my office mgr calls me to say that I'm too much of a risk to work.

artsie_1 . Situation got worse and I am not able to drive. Being bored and looking for ANY way to make $, I found PM. This Feb will mark my 2yr with posh. Love it and have really tried to work it more because the more you work it, the more $ you make. I also have s friend who brings her stuff to me as well.

artsie_1 I hardly sleep and end up being on here or FB at any given time of the night or morning. I also have a design/craft business at home. https://m.facebook.com/groups/107473233192945 not sure if this will take you to it, but go to Carols Creations. The cover photo will have a double rainbow. Check it out!😊

mrstomsha @artsie_1 I completely understand. When I was diagnosed with epilepsy I was doing the same thing just randomly passing out and at first they thought it might have to do with my heart so they monitored it for a week. They saw that it would have these periods of abnormal beats so they put me on meds and it helped for about a month.

mrstomsha @artsie_1 Then the passing out started again. They ran all these tests couldn’t figure it out so finally they put me in the hospital wired me all up and kept me there until I had an β€œepisode β€œ and found out they were seizures we went through about 10 meds before we found one that worked. I was on it seizure free for a year and a half until my insurance changed their policy and stopped covering it.

mrstomsha @artsie_1 Now I’m back to trying meds they cover and having seizures again. So I feel for you. Hopefully they figure out something soon. When I get frustrated with my doctors my dad reminds me that they have a license to β€œpractice” medicine which helps put things in perspective for me. πŸ˜‚

artsie_1 Well, I was actually hoping they could confirm seizures. At least at that point, it is just a matter of finding the correct drug and maintaining levels. My diagnosis is dysautonomia. I have worked in hospitals and doc offices all my adult life. I don't know all the details , but your ins cannot change and refuse to pay for pre-existing. That was my job. I fought ins co on daily basis.
