Poshmark actually offers the shipping at half off. $6.99 for 2lbs is better than $15.45 for the exact same service at USPS. They receive a discount & pass it on to us. I'm mad that the shipping decreased by .51 cents but so did the weight from 3lbs to 2lbs. Now we have to pay the difference. I'd love to see $5 shipping on all orders under $50...

They need to increase the lbs.. I would order something for $25.00 then I received the box and I ended up paying 88.00 for additional shipping and the seller didnt notify me..so of course you need to let PM know then take about a week to get back to you. They need to bring back the old way or at least up to 5lbs

Omg I hate poshmark for doi g this.... They made shipping 1c cheaper but they took away whole pound... I have to pay extra for every package I send ... It's f.... ridiculous

Bring back 3lbs at least! I don't understand why they lowered it by one cent only to give us 2lbs. And sellers have to pay extra when PM already takes % off what you make. :-( that's even less for us!

The worst part is that a medium priority box is 15 ounces empty!!! We can now only bundle 2 items to stay under 2 lbs.

@yamilove19 I definitely think Posh needs a First Class price so that shipping on jewelry items alone could be reasonable!! It is not good stewardship of our hard earned money to pay $7 to ship a pair of earrings or bracelet.

@yamilove19 thanks for following me! I agree with this and other poshers who have commented. The posh community is large and growing every day. I am aware that the USPS is in trouble financially, and I think that Poshmark is a great help to them for sellers that play by the rules. Unfortunately, the decreased poundage makes it tough on those of us who do play by the rules. :( I won't go against Posh and use PayPal, or purchase any items through PayPal, but some help would be nice. Even if it would go up one more cent for us to get the extra 16 oz back to cover the weight of the empty box. I don't think my sellers would appreciate receiving their orders in a wrinkly envelope :(

I ❤ Poshmark, don't get me wrong. They make it Extremely simple as far as shipping, labeling, etc, but the shipping decrease by $.01 an decrease in pounds you can ship is crazy!!!! I liked the 3 pounds because it was reasonable. Now it's 2lbs.. What about the weight of-the-box and filing.. It does add up.. etc.

I agree @squirrel !!! They tried to make it seem like they're doing us a favor with the shipping, but the decrease in weight, I don't think most ppl even noticed, until they ship their items and end up paying extra. Think about it, round and round out stuff goes, it's really going to posh, and shipping.

@yamilove19 I 100% agree with what everyone is saying!! I follow the posh rules, I have PayPal for my eBay stuff but never use it for selling on here. I also was excited about the price of shipping being lowered then being beyond annoyed that it was only a cent. And like others I didn't notice that the poundage had been dropped till I went to ship something and had to pay about 10 bucks extra! I love poshmark and how easy it is to use but I'm so annoyed with the shipping! It needs to be dropped to $5.

@yamilove19 I have almost completely stopped shopping :( I would rather use Nordstrom online they offer free shipping and free returns. I have lost ALOT of sales due to the shipping costs and changes :(

@yamilove19 I'm new to Posh. I've made one sale and by the time I'm done shipping it I will be in the hole!!!! PM is making all the money on my item!!!! I TOTALLY understand now why ppl go thru pp....it's the ONLY way you can make any money off of your items!!! Sad!!! And the 1 cent decrease is a JOKE!!!! I'm going to be using other apps like POSH and see if they are any better...I will let you know how that turns out!!!

I end up paying extra most of the time and add insurance on my own. Someone spends 100's of dollars. It needs to be insured. There should be that option.

We should be able to use flat rate boxes, they are only 5.05 if ordered on line for a small one with no weight limit! I can't reduce my cost to sell because of the shipping price and posh's take, and sometimes have to add more to cost to,cover the extra postage I will have to pay. We could also go to USPS and figure out our own cost and print label at home, you can get an account with them do you don't have to put in the info over and over, then at least we would know what the cost will be and eat it or pass some on. I don't want to also pay 6.99 for envelopes that are just a few ounces. Sometimes there are items small enough to mail for couple dollars. I lose sales because of the shipping , we all do.

There is another site like posh that I found, I don't use it yet,but it is pretty day to list stuff, I just haven't figured out how the people then search the items because It doesn't have a feed like here. The shipping cost is cheaper and they only take 9%! Tradsey

@joanneva I agree!!!! Since posh raised their shipping fees and lowered their shipping weights, my sales dropped dramatically!!!! Almost to none!! I made over $600 from November 2012 to march 2012... After that.. Most of my transactions have been trades. My husband who's a marketing major says Poshmark is a fad and will die away. Paypal is almost better to use. I've been using the "flat rate bubble envelope" @ $5.95. USPS said as long as your items can fit and the envelope seals your good! I've shipped stuff like a thanksgiving turkey using those envelopes!! Lol and theyr Free at the USPS!!!

@squirrel I think posh should just let us do our own shipping cost so we can choose. If i get to pay reasonable price for something I still don't want to get it if I have to pay another $7! I am going to start putting stuff on Craig's list and eBay instead. Then use PayPal. Posh is easier and quicker to use, but they take too much. On the other hand, they make it safer for disputes, perhaps. I need my IT guy to do a suite like posh! Then I can do it, ha!!

As a posh buyer the high shipping rates really are a killer! It really makes me second guess if I should purchase anything all from posh because of how much the shipping rates are!
:( I tweeted Manish Chandra @marrc to let him know we posher's are having a difficult time with our transactions due to the high rates but all I got was a favorite! :( hopefully things will change soon.
