Unfortunately the pie plate was broken in transport, luckily the casserole dish was in perfect condition which was the reason I made purchase. Don't know if you could have prevented the breakage, box looked like it had been treated pretty rough....I will attempt to repair but I'm still thrilled with my purchase 😊
