After receiving my order, I felt I could not properly rate it without first trying it. I have since purchased batteries and charger, and ordered 2GB CF cards, which I was unaware it needed until I received the camera. While waiting on the CF cards, I did ensure that the camera will power up, and I am certain it will function as expected. Overall, it is a nice little camera, being compact and light.
