So glad I ordered this set. It truely is "oil slick" in color. Very beautiful, but very subtle. Much prettier in person. Subtle iridescence does not show up well in photos. The blanket is thin and light but very cosy and so is the pillw. Can't wait for the weather to cool off so I can use this set (we have been in the high 90's or low 100's for some time now). Very happy with this purchase. Great product, pricing and service. Will visit this closet again.
