Good morning Kate. WOW, loved loved loved your note. What a terrific story about the history of these tea towels. They are more meaningful now that you shared the story. They certainly were worth the wait. I was / am planning on sending the Friday towel to a dear friend in Iowa for her birthday at the end of this month. She was born on a Friday. She and I worked together at ATT in downtown Detroit decades ago. When she retired, she moved back to her hometown , a farm town of 400 people. She had a house built and Victorian is her style. She , like me, LOVES dogs and has had many over the years. The Wed towel I plan to send to my sister in SF, as she was born on a Wed and is a dog walked in SF. I ve made copies of your note, and will include with the towels when I send to them. If you are interested, I ll e mail you their reaction when they get their gifts. I ll save the towel for my sister til the end of the year tho. Do I have your e mail address? The towels are prettier in person than in the picture. Your note put a lump in my throat as I read it.
