I expected to see wear and tear on this, I think it's supposed to be, used item. But it appears brand new! I spent hours looking for a new day pack from various makers to replace my old Kelty which was falling apart. They are all too big and the pockets are either in the wrong place or useless for me. And most of them don't hold liter waterbottles! I'm very happy
