The shoes, while light weight, were in the original sturdy cardboard wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an unlined, mailing envelope. It appears the cardboard of the packaging ripped the envelope open to the point that the shoes were basically falling out of it. There is a message on the envelope that says, "RECEIVED UNSEALED" from the postal service. The shoes are great, but i feel like they could just as easily flopped out of the badly torn envelope and never seen by me or by the seller. A bubble envelope or a better inside wrapper would ha e been much more efficient. Thank you! -Sherri
