Today may have been the worst day of my life. The morning started off rough, and just progressed from there. It all came to a head when my 82 year old mother with advanced dementia, tells me she never wanted to see me again. She will forget, but it still hurts. When I finally got home after 6, I had already been ugly crying in my car for over an hour. All I wanted to do was crawl in bed and hope that tomorrow would be better. Before I hoped into my PJ'S, I decided to open the package that arrived in the mail, and...Oh. My. God. Not only was the dress waaaaaayyyy more beautiful than I had hoped, but I was sent the coolest Zodiac tapestry as a gift! Even though I was exhausted, I had to try it on. I have owned and loved Free People clothing forever, but this dress was made for me. It for me perfectly and colors complimented me so well, I couldn't have picked them better myself. I didn't need paper towels at that moment, but I threw on my sandals, let down my hair, and ran to a local store just so I could show it off. I received two compliments in 10 minutes, but even without those, I smiled for the first time all day. Sometimes it's just the little things that encourage us to keep trying. Today, for me, it was my new, favorite dress. And as long as there are beautiful dresses in the world, there's a reason to smile. Thank you so much for bringing a little light into my life. I'm so grateful ❤️
