Seller was clear about the binding slightly torn. Pages are in fabulous shape, I would call it "lightly worn". I bought a copy almost 30 years ago--my first cookbook, but mine was stained up from use. So happy to have this book, in *GREAT* shape, better than I expected. It arrived promptly, was packaged to prevent damage. Thanks!!
