I bought these earrings on the day I lost my sweet Casper. I had promised Carol that I would, and even on one of the hardest days of my life, I wasn’t about to break that promise. Carol is another one of my incredibly talented PFFs (Posh Friend Forever). Not only are her earrings absolutely beautiful, but her kindness shines just as brightly. She surprised me by including a pair I had been admiring as a gift, completely unexpected. Opening that package felt like the best kind of Summer Christmas. My mom gets just as excited as I do whenever one of Carol’s packages arrives. Because of her dementia and declining vision, we always carry everything into the brightest room so she can admire each tiny detail. For those few moments, the joy on her face is priceless. Thank you, Carol—not only from me, but from my mom as well. At a time when our hearts were broken, your beautiful handmade creations gave us something to smile about, something to share together, and even if it was only for a little while, they helped us forget our sadness. Your talent is extraordinary, but your generosity and kindness are what make your shop truly unforgettable.
