My grandmother recently passed. I was born in the 1980s and whenever I visited her as a child, I played with a swan just like this one. My grandmother was proud of this swan and kept her in a basket in the living room. I always planned to ask for this swan to remember my grandmother by, but it couldn’t be found among her belongings. In a moment of curiosity and grief, I decided to try to find the swan online, googling details I remembered. Immediately this listing came up, along with only one or two others on the entire internet. Most of them were only in fair shape or were missing the ribbons. I was so glad to find one in similar beautiful condition to the one my grandmother kept so lovingly. I was very happy to have my offer accepted. The seller reached out to make sure I understood the description of a “moving head” was not in reference to an animatronic, which was very kind. I assured her I was very familiar with the swan and when I mentioned my grandmother she said she would ship the very next day, with very compassionate condolences for my loss. The swan arrived very quickly, packaged with care in exactly the beautiful condition described. I will admit I cried when I opened the box. The swan is identical to the one my grandmother had. So many memories flooded back. I am displaying her with love and am so grateful for this seller’s quick shipping and big heart. Thank you! ❤️
