mikylajo @karisrenee She sent a case saying they were misrepresented and not what I listed even though I am 100% they are!! In the original box and everything. I have tried to dispute it but they played in her favor and she is sending them back to me. does this kind of thing happen?

karisrenee Ughhh girl, I'm sorry to hear that- that sucks!!!!! But if it makes you feel better, that kind of thing does happen from time to time. That's actually happened to me before, and what's helped me was just sending a quick email back to poshmark support. You can specifically ask them "hey I'm not sure why this was an approved return.

karisrenee I know that everything was adequately represented. Please tell me WHY SPECIFICALLY this user reported this item and WHY it was approved for a return to be sent back to me." They will then tell you exactly what this girl said and why they approved the case. (A) It could be something extremely minor that you didn't even notice. Or (B) it may be an issue where they've made a mistake. ((That's very rare)).

karisrenee It's typically just something minor that really shouldn't have been approved, but keep in mind that you must be OVER THE TOP DETAILED with some items and listings because they typically side with the buyer if even 1 hair is out of place or different than originally described. This means, if something was damaged during shipping--> they will approve the return. If the mail carrier shakes the hell out of the package, and something falls out of place-->

karisrenee they will approve the return. Things that aren't your fault will still fall on you. Now, I've experienced both situations A and B. For example, I have had people return things over the most miiiiiiinor tiny things ever! One girl recently returned a watch because the strap was not genuine leather. ( this is even though my description said that it was just "leather textured"). I was told that because the Title had the word leather in it, that it was misrepresented. Extremely minor!

karisrenee But people with even a tiny bit of buyers remorse will find a way to return items, and you can't let it get you down!!! Now, on the other hand, I've been in situation B, and I asked them exactly what the issue was with the purchase that was being returned? and they told me that 1item was damaged and that the other piece did not match the photo in the listing. That was a complete mistake, and not only did the piece exactly match the picture in the listing,

karisrenee but the other item arrived even more damaged than the buyer showed original photos of. This girl damage one necklace of mine and sent it back to me in pieces! And the other piece that she claimed didn't match the photo was The exact, spot on match! Posh support showed me exactly what she said and then showed me the pictures that she sent to them.

karisrenee I took her photos and put them right next to the pictures in my listing, and wrote them back with my findings, and they completely apologized for the oversight and released my earnings even though they had already refunded this sketchy buyer.

karisrenee My recommendation to you @mikylajo #1 write to poshmark support ASAP to find out what exactly took place. It's completely within your rights as a seller because they want you to do better and sell your items! You can even tell them that when you relist this item , you want to avoid making whatever mistake caused this return, and they will of course share the information with you.

karisrenee #2 some people might disagree with this, but I do not recommend reaching out to the buyer at all. If you're in a situation, where you feel that your description and photos were absolutely perfect and correct, reaching out to a buyer can sometimes go negatively even if you have positive intentions!

karisrenee I've politely reached out to some buyers who have opened a case, saying "hey I'm so sorry you weren't happy with your purchase. I noticed you opened a case- what exactly was wrong with your item??" And these girls will go OFF on you! Whether they are right or wrong, it still creates a potentially hostile situation.

karisrenee And also, as a shopper here as well, I've opened a case for sellers who sent me crazy different things different than their listing, with crazy damage beyond photos, etc... and the second that I open the case, these girls are blowing up my newsfeed very rude and very defensive! Saying things like, "what was wrong with this? Why did you open a case? I know that all of my photos and descriptions were correct! Etc." it just comes off very defensive, even if you do it right.
