stretchy waistband. lined with a second layer but still a little sheer- i’ve worn nude or light colored stuff under and it didn’t show through. colorful or black underwear will though! worn a few times but not really any wear or tear. no stains or discoloration. holds pleats even through washer and dryer cycles. size XS but can fit as a small or even a medium since it’s stretchy
