vtg Duke college gorilla pennant school spirit stuffed figure no longer works

This gorilla no longer works when you squeeze his hand, I do not see any way to add new batteries so I am not sure if it could be fixed. Still a lovely piece to set out and display. It is about 12 1/2" tall. Due to the size of this item it can not be added with any other item. This is shipped from a smoke free home. Thanks for looking! locbbp17
