vintage bookend Grandpa Hanson Ceramic 1970s Replacements.
We believe these were made in a little shop called the Nifty Nook in West Plains, MO, (later became Studio 160 Ceramics), we give credit to Carol, the Nifty Nook’s owner, for the mold used. Clients would use her molds to create these, and many other items, and then paint and fire them right in the store’s kiln. So these are unique, one of a kind art and signed by the artist. Great as a gift, for a study, library, office or for your favorite geriatrician!. Hey, Grandparent’s Day is in September!!
