vintage US Navy embroidered USS Berkeley 27 years proud DDG-15 dark blue hat

Six panel (classic baseball) design with eyelets for ventilation. Tags removed. Polyester. Dark navy blue color. Embroidery in golden yellow & silver hues. The gold oak leaf embellishment detail on the bill (aka scrambled eggs) is for a Captain or Commander (CDR / CAPT). Colors are best represented by 1st photo Adjustable snap back. Has some stretch. Please see photos for measurements. Fun fact: the USS Berkeley was a missile destroyer in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1992. After that she was in the Hellenic Navy of Greece until 2002. In good used condition. NOTE: there is evidence of light wear; 1 spot on outside, and 1 spot on inside (as shown in last photo).
