vintage Needlepoint Petti Point POCKETBOOK HANDBAG Foreign

From the late 1950's to the late 1960's is this needlepoint or petit point rigid box pocketbook. Inside it (the box) is lined with a satin-like material with a small pocket sewn in the back. The pocket has an elastic edge. The front is kept closed by what I believe is called a frog. The loop is stretched out a bit from age (not wear as I don't think it was ever used). The interior is spotless, as is the outside and the handle/carrying strap. This was in the back of a upstairs closet that hadn't been touched for years. The box it is in appears to be one from a gift shop and she traveled a lot around that period, mostly in Europe. That is all I know about it. SIZE: 6 1/2" wide x 6" deep x 5 1/2" tall.
