vintage 90’s floral velvet maxi dress button through gown

this dress is a damn show stopper. this was a staple of the nouveau hippie girl attire back in the late 80’s- 90’s. heavy weight velvet, worn in to perfection. the natural sunlight helped me to capture the true beauty of this gown. sure.. spell & arnhem are lovely.. but, this is the kind of dress those are emulating. a true vintage piece. there are shoulder pads, one is wonky. same beautiful fabric. i would snip them out & keep the velvet for any unfortunate damage that may occur. the buttons up the front APPEAR to be true functional, but have been stitched closed. i am an amateur seamstress, so i can open that if you’d like. i can also remove (and include) the shoulder pads. lemme’ know. a1
