vintage 1950s Robert Morton black wiggle dress

Gorgeous vintage black wiggle dress by designer Robert Morton circa 1950s. Fitted bodice with mini pleated collar. Long sleeves fitted with darts at elbow and zippers at cuff. Skirt has back kick pleat. No size or fiber content labels. Fabric has a subtle satiny sheen and is faced with a layer of cotton fabric. Collar underside is tacked down to bodice with hand stitching and there’s a bit of stitching missing at one spot. Also a bit of loose seam stitching in the same area where sleeve meets bodice beneath the collar. See last photo. Otherwise very nice vintage condition. Approximate measurements are: 17” across at underarm 12” at waist 17” at hip Bodice length shoulder to waist 12.5” Skirt length 27”
