There is a small gap (that comes naturally with the design) between the button and the sewn together fabric as shown in the photo, of about 3". 7" slit at the bottom of the skirt (final photo). Fabric with the fringe can be pulled aside to give that more wrapped look as shown in photo #4 but it sewn together for modesty & ease in movement.
