anna_lise_k Can I tell you a sad story? Last night, I went to a fundraiser for cancer research and I wore this exact dress. I never got compliments on a dress in the past, because I’ve always been chubby, but I lost 45 pounds last year, and now I can fit into a small Zara dress. Everyone was complimenting me and the dress last night, and for once, in a very long time, I felt truly beautiful.

anna_lise_k My family has been struggling financially for as long as I can remember, and last year my mom found this dress for one dollar at Salvation Army and bought it for me. Last night was the first time I wore it and she was so happy. Moments before I left the event, a drunk woman ran her costume jewelry bracelet down the sleeve of this dress, and ruined it for good, because it pulled the fabric.
