@hoarderhaven i met Dennis Hopper too!!! I was the Photo Director at ACCESS DirecTV’s magazine and he was on the cover one month promoting whatever project he was doing at the time. I would love to hear all about your stories… this is such a hard place to connect

@rawluxe_world my "run in "was not really a professional connection originally. I was living near taos and my boyfriend's brother was good friends with Dennis where he had a house. He was over there all the time but I wasn't allowed to go there. Dennis was going to use him in a music project for one of his movies. My friends name I think he's still alive, is Chris Sikelianos. Now he lives in upstate New York on allen Ginsberg's land. so back in Santa Barbara years down the line

@rawluxe_world I run into Hopper as I'm working for the Santa Barbara film festival as a volunteer. I talked to him about our friend Kris. Dennis says did he ever do anything with his music? I says did any of us do anything with our music? When I relay this message back to chris he says oh I've been trying to reach him! those were in the good old days when I had a fun life not much like it is now. Did you keep the picture on the magazine?

@rawluxe_world just for the record. I also meet Allen Ginsberg in Santa Barbara where he is to perform. I met him at the radio station I worked at. I had to do a little name dropping, I sort of don't like that term but that's one way to describe it. He was my nieces teacher at naropa Institute in Boulder Eleni Sikelianos she's a writer now teaches writing at Brown University. it's odd to think that both Ginsburg and Hopper have passed away...

It's a long list and sometimes I don't even remember them all. I usually don't put it in my listing unless there's some relationship/connection. I sure do miss those days. I was very fortunate
