I can't really tell from the pictures and was just wondering if these are a faux wedge? Also, what is the tread like on the bottom of the boot?

Yes they are wedge and it's not thick tread like snow boots I would say that it's like the bottom of an ugg. I'll be home tomorrow so I can pit more pics if you like.
