indyvin original ~ repurposed 1970s bedspread/towel - drawstring fringe pants. As cozy as they are cute, these pants will surely be an every day, staple! Wear them to a festival, to the grocery store, or just out on a walk, and turn heads every time :-) The material is either 100% cotton (I believe). With an abstract flower pattern woven in, it is a yummy avocado and has a bit of a stretch to it. Along with a drawstring closure, this allows the pants to accommodate a range of sizes. The pockets are made from a hand towel also from the 70s, I think. With a band of colorful floral design, the towel must have been washed in hot water and shrunk only through the decorative band. This gives the pockets a very interesting sculptural shape. I have attacked a dart into the top and bottom of the pockets to accentuate that :-) Measurements Laying Flat Waist: 15” Hips: 20” Rise Front: 13” Rise Back: 14” Inseam: 27”
