This is a long shot, but I am looking for the Holga camera in violet/purple. The 120N model specifically, but would accept any of the other variations in 120 like GCFN. They are discontinued, so I don’t expect it to be available, but if you have one, I’d love help you rehome it. TY.

mutualfiends666 @minkaandco I’m so social media lazy though! But Thank you 🤣! I actually ended up finding the camera on F@ceb00k m a r k e t in Portland. I’m still on the hunt for the model with the glass lens as well, but shocked to have found the exact model in the picture. I’m actually a photography student. Been loving analogue/film photography. I even use the dark room. I feel so lucky to have access for free. I’ll have to show you my pics some time. 🩶🩶🩶

mutualfiends666 @minkaandco I work in the photography studio on campus, too. It’s been a great learning experience. I definitely those who have had the opportunity to have a high school that offered great amenities & electives. You’re not the first person I’ve encountered that mentioned having darkroom & film classes in high school. That’s incredible.

mutualfiends666 @minkaandco I’m still learning. My weakness is conventional photography (like human subjects, portraits, landscapes, wildlife, nature). I hope to get better at that. Though it’s not my preference. They’re challenging. Where I find my most passion is experimental photography. Omg. You should totally travel! If I had the disposable $$$$, I’d travel every 3 months! I’d love to move from USA to be honest

mutualfiends666 @minkaandco I have asked myself “where would I go” for most of my life. The truth is, idk. I don’t feel hopeful, b/c there is no utopia & hate is ancient & global, so idk where else I would go that feels so much safer than here. Sometimes I’ve considered a Spanish speaking country, particularly in Latin America. Not Europe.

mutualfiends666 @freeupmypeople hello! That’s ok. It’s easy to miss. When people visit PNW, I’m always like wth are they even doing over here? It’s such a sleepy region. With only 2 notable cities — Seattle and Portland. I’m 2 hours from Portland. I don’t live there. But maybe I could buy the camera if it functions. Esp the shutter button. I’ve noticed a lot of used ones shutter doesn’t work. I’ll know it works if I saw a video inside. Anyway, you could ship it from Portland. Do you have any pictures of it?

mutualfiends666 @freeupmypeople for the 120N version, 20-25 is a good range. Just the 120n. It’s the most bare model. It’s the plastic lens version (yes, holgas have glass lens versions), it doesn’t have built in class, nor does it have the built in colour filter gels that some models have. E.g. cfn, gcfn
